A bit about Lisa

In a tiny community in rural Victoria, Lisa Booth and her hubby, Steve (aka Boots), embarked on a journey that would reshape their lives and inspire countless others.

In 2016, they designed and built an off-grid, passively-designed family home on a modest budget, completely unaware of the tidal wave of interest that was to come.

Their home, a beacon of sustainability and simplicity, went on to spark widespread curiosity and global interest, leading them to establish Booken Blend, a rapidly expanding online community of over 87,000 (Lisa calls them ‘The Tribe’).

Fast-forward to the present and Lisa has now been at the forefront of sustainable living and energy efficiency projects for over twenty years, working in both the government and private sectors.

Through her work and now her business, Booken Blend, she has come to believe in the incredible power of grassroots movements to drive change.

Lisa's dedication to creating a more sustainable future is both inspiring and impactful as she continues to educate and lead in this vital field.
